Child Education Initiative

To make sure every child has access to quality education, learning resources and mentorship, so poverty stops being handed from one generation to the next.

Who we serve

  • Children aged 5-18 from low-income families
  • First-generation learners
  • Children at risk of dropping out of school
  • Children in underserved communities

What we do

Enrolment and retention

  • Finding out-of-school children and bringing them back
  • Tuition help, uniforms and school supplies
  • Working with families so education stays a priority
  • Regular check-ins to prevent dropout

Learning support

  • Tutoring in reading, maths and science
  • Digital literacy and life-skills workshops
  • Scholarships for talented students from disadvantaged homes

Whole-child development

  • Nutritious mid-day meals and snacks
  • Health, hygiene and counselling support
  • Career guidance and mentorship

Teachers and parents

  • Child-centred teaching training
  • Parent education to support learning at home
  • Community campaigns on the value of education

Our planning targets: enrol around 5,000 children a year, reach 85%+ attendance and help 3,000 children gain digital skills.
